Gold-filled jewelry consists of a thick layer of solid 14k gold over a core of jeweler’s brass. For those looking for a more affordable alternative to solid gold, this is the metal for you. This sweat-proof everyday metal won’t tarnish or turn you green. It’s great for those with sensitive skin and is highly durable with proper care.
Gold-filled pieces will age differently on everyone based on personal body chemistry, lifestyle, and the products they use on their skin.
-
925 Sterling Silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. Sterling Silver can be more sensitive to chemicals so we recommend avoiding direct contact with products including cosmetics, sunscreen, and perfumes.
Sterling Silver wants to be worn - the natural oils on your skin will actually protect and prolong the life of your jewelry.
-
Blackened or oxidized silver is genuine sterling silver, but its outer surface has been purposely darkened via a chemical process. This essentially speeds up the natural tarnishing process, creating an attractive dark patina, which consists of a layer of silver sulfide on the exterior of the metal.
You should avoid using a silver polish as this will strip the oxidized finish from the silver. Instead, we recommend cleaning your oxidized silver by using a dry, clean cloth to avoid scratching. Only clean oxidized silver when necessary.
-
Enamel jewelry is jewelry that has a durable, colorful coating of fused glass or minerals applied to metal. The process of creating enamel jewelry involves grinding molten glass into tiny grains, applying the glass grains by hand to the jewelry, and heating the jewelry until the glass grains fuse together
The result is a smooth, glossy surface that can be as intricate and vivid as a painter's canvas.
If the color is starting to look a little dull, keep your enamel jewelry pieces shining with warm water, a mild liquid soap and a soft cloth. Keep enamel away from harsh chemicals, perfumes, and detergents.

Solid Gold is a precious metal that can quite literally last forever and makes perfect investment pieces. We use 14 karat solid gold because we found it to be the perfect balance between affordable and durable, it doesn’t bend or scratch easily making it the perfect fit for any lifestyle.
-
White Gold is extremely similar to Solid Gold, but to change its color from yellow to white, jewelry makers must add a small amount of silvery-white colored precious metals to it. Typically, these alloy metals are “white-colored” metals like platinum, palladium and silver.
It is a perfect elevated alternative to Sterling Silver.

Unlike any other gemstone, pearls require no cutting or polishing before use and are simply stunning in their natural form. We suggest taking special care of your pearls so they can live their best life. Avoid direct contact with perfumes and cosmetics and store them safely in our jewelry pouches when you take them off.

Opal, a precious gemstone of exceptional allure, holds a prominent place in the world of minerals.
The saying is “Opals love to be worn”, but what Opal jewelry loves the most is to be hand-polished with a soft cloth or chamois. You should use warm water and a soft cloth to remove surface dirt and oil, an excellent monthly habit for Opal jewelry care.
Jewelry Care
Cleaning your jewelry is important for a number of reasons, including:
Preserving appearance: Cleaning your jewelry helps it keep its shine and look new.
Preventing damage: Dirt and grime can wear down the structural components of jewelry, such as prongs, which can lead to loose gemstones and tarnished metal.
Extending lifespan: Regular cleaning can help jewelry last longer.
Reducing risk of allergies: Cleaning your jewelry can help reduce the risk of skin irritations.
To clean your permanent jewelry, you can use a mild soap or jewelry cleaner and a soft brush to remove dirt and grime:
Use a gentle cleaning solution: Use warm water and mild dish soap or a gentle soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the jewelry. You can also use a jewelry polishing cloth.
Use a soft brush: For intricate designs, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove dirt and grime.
Pat dry: After cleaning, pat the jewelry dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
